چکیده

Pigeonpea is one of the important pulse crop Madhya Pradesh, a State India. The plant gets infected by pathogen Fusarium udum causing wilt disease, which major constraints in production and productivity pigeonpea. present study aimed to carry out vitro condition assess possible use biocontrol consortia field conditions. Six Trichoderma viz., T1- T. viride + harzianum (JC-I), T2- virens (JC-2), T3:- +T. (JC-3), T4- hamatum (JC-4), T5- (JC-5), T6- (JC-6) T0- Control were evaluated for their antagonistic activity against F. udumunder (JC-4) was found most effective(58.82 %) inhibiting radial growth udum. volatile compound from consortium T5-T. (JC-5) exhibited maximum inhibition (81.84%) sporulation followed T1-T. (JC-I) (55.49% inhibition) . culture filtrate showed 100% test (82.89%) at 5 % concentration. It also observed that with an increase concentration filtrates all species, mycelial proportionally decreased. Trichodema may be tried manage pigeonpea because they worked synergistically gave high impact use.

Environmental Influences on Pigeonpea-Fusarium udum Interactions and Stability of Genotypes to Fusarium Wilt

Fusarium wilt (Fusarium udum Butler) is an important biotic constraint to pigeonpea (Cajanus cajan L.) production worldwide. Breeding for fusarium wilt resistance continues to be an integral part of genetic improvement of pigeonpea. Therefore, the study was aimed at identifying and validating resistant genotypes to fusarium wilt and determining the magnitude of genotype × environment (G × E) in...

Control of Fusarium Oxysporum Causing Fusarium Wilt by Trichoderma Spp and Pseudomonas fluorescens on Arachis hypogaea L

Fusarium wilt diseases caused by the fungus Fusarium oxysporum lead to significant yield losses of crops. Biocontrol agents such asTrichoderma viride , Trichoderma harzianum and Pseudomonas fluorescens are applied to control Fusarium wilt of Arachis hypogaea. Experiments were conducted on the effect of culture filtrates of T.viride (1%), T.harzianum (1.5%), and P. fluorescens (2%) on biochemica...

Characterization of Novel Trichoderma asperellum Isolates to Select Effective Biocontrol Agents Against Tomato Fusarium Wilt

The use of novel isolates of Trichoderma with efficient antagonistic capacity against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici (FOL) is a promising alternative strategy to pesticides for tomato wilt management. We evaluated the antagonistic activity of 30 isolates of T. asperellum against 4 different isolates of FOL. The production of extracellular cell wall degrading enzymes of the antagonistic i...

Effect of Aqueous Leaf Extracts of Datura Sp. against Two Plant Pathogenic Fungi

Aqueous leaf extract of four different species of Datura viz. D.stramonium L., D. innoxia Mill.Gard, D. metal L. and D. ferox L. Amoen were tested for their antifungal activity against phytopathogenic molds in terms of mycelial growth of Alternaria solani and Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. udum causing early blight of tomato and wilt of pigeonpea respectively. The extract of Datura sp. at 5, 10, 15 a...

Genetics of Fusarium Wilt Resistance in Pigeonpea (Cajanus cajan) and Efficacy of Associated SSR Markers

Inheritance of resistance to Fusarium wilt (FW) disease caused by Fusarium udum was investigated in pigeonpea using four different long duration FW resistant genotypes viz., BDN-2004-1, BDN-2001-9, BWR-133 and IPA-234. Based on the F2 segregation pattern, FW resistance has been reported to be governed by one dominant gene in BDN-2004-1 and BDN-2001-9, two duplicate dominant genes in BWR-133 and...
